Lauren joins us this June from Carnegie Mellon University after graduating with University and College of Engineering honors and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. While at Carnegie Mellon, Lauren researched heat transfer paths across fiber bodies, performed chemical and synthetic development work in pharmaceuticals, and assisted engineering and programming for defense facilities. As a senior staff member of the New Jersey chapter of Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), which encourages community service and innovation, Lauren helps plan the annual meeting and participates in events throughout the year. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys golfing, especially with her family on weekend trips. A native of Bloomingdale, NJ, Lauren graduated first in her class all four years at the Academy for Math, Science & Engineering (AMSE), a regional magnet high school focusing on mathematics, science and engineering.
