Michael joins us this October from the University of Connecticut, where he earned his PhD and MS in Physics. Michael researched interaction processes in quantum theory and he authored or co-authored articles and gave presentations on electromagnetic radiation and on other issues in optics and photonics. At UConn, Michael co-founded a software start-up that developed a mobile app for college student study groups. Previously, Michael earned his BS in Physics at the University of Kansas. He was a NASA Langley Aerospace Research Student Scholar and received a doctoral dissertation fellowship while at UConn, and earned a nanotechnology scholarship and undergraduate research award at Kansas.
