Irv Lustig Discusses Change Management for Analytics Projects

To gain the acceptance of analytics used for decision support, analytics professionals should use organizational change management principles, according to Princeton Consultants Optimization Principal Irv Lustig, who presented at the INFORMS Business Analytics and Operations Research conference in Orlando. Irv offered tips and advice for analytics practitioners in their work with key users to gain acceptance of their solutions. The presentation drew from the collective observations and insights of practitioners with decades of experience in the development and deployment of analytic methods for improved decision making. Irv also served as a judge for the prestigious Franz Edelman Award honoring excellence in operations research.
