Zach joins us this June from Franklin & Marshall College, where he was an assistant professor in Physics and Astronomy. He previously was an assistant professor at the University of Scranton. Zach’s research has emphasized mathematical modeling and data analysis using C++/Python and software tools. Zach has published multiple articles on the measurement of the D* meson and related topics. Zach earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Experimental Particle Physics at the University of Cincinnati. He previously graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics. Zach grew up in northeastern Connecticut.
