Ryan joins us from Caltech, where he graduated with a BS in Computer Science and Business, Economics and Management (BEM). As an intern for a food manufacturer, Ryan developed a prototype machine learning pipeline to predict changes in sales, and he helped improve a statistical forecast aggregation program for regional sales. Ryan’s data science project work addressed Covid vaccination strategy. He helped code a forest fire prediction model, and an experimental spreadsheet engine. A member of the Caltech baseball team all four years and captain his senior year, Ryan was a starting pitcher whose best pitch was a two-seam sinker, and a second baseman. He enjoys poker, golf and weightlifting in his spare time. Ryan is from Clinton, NJ.
