Starting in September, Logan Ware joins us from the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.A. in Chemical Physics, with a Minor in Mathematics. As a research assistant, Logan worked on several projects for the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory that included writing software, building and modifying electronics for data acquisition, and conducting experiments on photomultiplier tubes. A competitive swimmer for 17 years, Logan was a four-year varsity member of the Penn swimming team. He specialized in Sprint Freestyle and his best race was the 100 meters. In his spare time, Logan enjoys reading science fiction; Isaac Asimov is his favorite author.
