Nate Scheidler joins us this October from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a B.S. in Engineering Physics and graduated with honors. As a research assistant, he investigated properties of carbon nano-yarn, a novel material. Nate has programmed mainly in Python, Java and C++. His recreational software development has included computing neutron fractals, and creating a solver for the Boggle word game. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Nate enjoys reading fiction, playing the accordion, and building intricate polyhedra models out of paper.
