Lindsay Portelli joins us this March from Johns Hopkins University, where she earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Lindsay received the Rachel Reichner Memorial Award for engineering, accomplishments and community spirit. For her senior project, Lindsay designed a hand-sanitizing device utilizing ozone as an oxidizer and constructed a working prototype. She was a class representative for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, collaborating with faculty and students. Lindsay sang in a university choir and served as its treasurer. She has played the part of Cinderella for two different productions of Into the Woods. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and hiking, especially in the Catskills and the Hudson Valley near her hometown of Cornwall, NY.
