Lukas Stille joins us this January from the University of Toronto, where he earned an MSc in Physics and performed doctoral research to calculate the conditions for the superconductivity of graphene, a single layer of carbon atoms that has great potential for electronics. Previously, Lukas earned a BSc in Nanoscience with a Minor in Physics at the University of Guelph, where he served as a Research Assistant. He was awarded several scholarships for academic excellence and helped lead the Nanoscience Club activities. Lukas programs in languages such as C++ and Java, and is experienced in simulation techniques. He has competed in Ultimate Frisbee leagues and enjoys reading History in his spare time. Lukas is a native of Ottawa.
